Curriculum Vitae

Jean-Claude Muller, (PhD), is a veteran of the pharmaceutical industry having
performed singularly diverse and important leadership roles in research and
development, business development, alliance management and as a business
angel.

His corporate experience was at Sanofi SA where he was Senior Vice
President, R&D Prospective Affairs and Strategic Initiatives and helped shape
the company’s investment strategy leading to acquisitions and growth. In 2005
he became the Founding President of the French biocluster, Medicen Paris.

Subsequently, he applied his expertise in the founding and in the creation of the
consulting company Innovation and International Relationships (I&IR). At
I&IR, he has helped young companies design and build business plans and
develop collaborations with international partners.

Dr Muller is currently Business Editor for MedNous, a print and digital
publication which covers advances of medicines in Europe. Separately, he has
published more than 400 reports on business and medicine on the website
